Specifically, some particular floats started observing at pressures that are different from the pre-determined pressures at a particular time. The data do not tell us if these floats make T/S measurements at the reported pressures, or they make measurements at the pre-determined pressures but report the different pressures. (In the latter case, the float data are bad.) We therefore recommend you not to use these data. The WMO ID and the observation number (YM) of such floats are listed as follows. WMO 2900702 #59 (June 2009) WMO 5901917 #12 (July 2009) WMO 2900666 #17 (May 2007) through #142 (January 2009) regards, Eitarou The website for the dataset: http://ocg.ori.u-tokyo.ac.jp/member/eoka/data/NPargodata/
