- (1995/06/25) Changed URI of our site from http://dante.ori.u-tokyo.ac.jp/ to http://dpo.ori.u-tokyo.ac.jp/.
- (Around 1994/07) Volunteers in the division of physical oceanography set up one of the first web servers in ORI, http://dante.ori.u-tokyo.ac.jp. The other one was http://manbow.ori.u-tokyo.ac.jp/ of the division of ocean floor geotectonics.
